Location: Notting Hill, London

Stage 1 was an evidence-based research piece to understand the lived experience of local school children and young people on their local high street. Findings have provided clear opportunities for more work on investigating civic issues which particularly impact young people and a pilot process for investigating other high streets and town centres from a child friendly perspective.

The findings also provided some strong ideas and direction for Stage 2 which is the co-design of a youth hub with members of the RBKC Youth Council. ZCD Architects worked with the youth council over three sessions, to produce designs for the new space. Completion is planned for early 2023.
