ZCD Architects took the lead as delivery architects for an exciting project in collaboration with Wandsworth Council at Penwortham School—a remarkable design and built project for a year six classroom block.

The spaces are naturally ventilated and have flexible teaching areas with a folding wall between two classrooms, allowing for assembly teaching on a regular basis.

On the exterior, the building is a prefabricated timber cassette structure clad with western red cedar in a horizontal and vertical arrangement, for classrooms and service areas respectively.
