brentford housing masterplan

The masterplan has been developed from design principles that seek to re-connect the estate with the wider area and improve public and shared spaces. The vision is for a child friendly neighbourhood, shaped for and with children and young people -  a safe place to play and hang out, where they feel welcome and part of the community. It will set a benchmark in sustainable, community-centred design for future development in the borough.

ZCD Architects’ block is adjacent to the much-loved Royal Horse Guardsman pub on Ealing Road. Borrowing from the material palette and motifs and with a respectful set back from the pub, the block creates an appropriate corner.
